Useful Information for Our
Tenants
Rules and Regulations (Not an
All-Inclusive List):

The public halls and stairways shall not be
obstructed or used for any other purpose than for ingress to and egress from the
apartments.

No Lessee shall make or permit any disturbing
noises to be made in the building by him or her self, members of their family,
guests, their agents, servants or licensees; nor do or permit anything to be
done that will interfere with the rights, comforts or convenience of other
tenants. No Lessee shall play or suffer to be played any musical instrument,
television or radio, in the demised premises between the hours of 10:30P.M.
and the following 8:30A.M., if the same shall disturb or annoy other occupants
of the building. All cooking equipment must be used in such a way as to prevent
noxious odors from permeating the building
- The Lessee shall not throw or permit to be thrown
anything whatever out of the windows or doors, or into the halls of the
building.

The delivery of kitchen supplies, market
goods, towels, ice, water, newspapers or other supplies and packages of every
kind will be permitted only at the entrance provided therefore, and the Lessor
will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of any such property,
notwithstanding such loss or damage may occur through the carelessness or
negligence of the employees of the building. The Lessor will not be responsible
for any article left with any employee or in any part of the building.

No baby carriages, velocipedes, bicycles
or other large articles will be allowed in the halls, passageways, areas or
courts of the building.

The Lessee shall keep the premises leased
in good state of preservation and cleanliness, and shall not sweep or throw or
permit to be swept or thrown from the premises leased, any dirt or other
substance into any of the corridors or halls, elevators or stairways of said
building.

No ash can, garbage can, woodbox, kitchen
supplies, ice or other articles shall be placed in the halls or on the staircase
landings, nor shall anything be hung from the windows, or balconies, or placed
upon the window sills. Neither shall any table clothes, clothing, curtains, rugs
or other articles, be shaken or hung from any of the windows or doors.

The water closets and any other water
apparatus shall not be used for any other purpose other than that for which they
were constructed, nor shall any sweepings, rubbish, rags or any other improper
articles be thrown into the same; and any damage resulting from misuse thereof
shall be borne by the tenant by whom or upon whose premises it shall have been
caused.

Children shall not play in the public
halls, entrances, stairways or elevators.

Each tenant shall use the laundry and
drying apparatus, if any, only on such days and hours as the Lessor shall
designate.

No animal shall be carried on the
elevators or kept in or about the premises, except on written consent of the
Lessor.

No window shades or awnings shall be placed on
any of the windows excepting those approved by Lessor, and no awning shall be
placed on any window prior to May 1st or allowed to remain on any window after
October 1st in any year.

The Lessor reserves the right to rescind any of
these rules and to make such other and further rules and regulations as, in
Lessor's judgment, may from time to time be needful for the safety, care,
maintenance, operation and cleanliness of the building and for the preservation
of good order therein, which, when so made, and notice thereof is given to the
Lessee, shall have the same force and effect as if originally made a part of the
foregoing lease of the premises therein referred to.
